Rick is responsible for the overall direction and management of Comprehend Systems. In 2012, Rick was named to the PharmaVOICE 100, which recognizes the 100 most influential people in the life sciences industry.
Prior to Comprehend Systems, Rick spent nearly a decade developing clinical analytics tools, including tools used by the FDA and top pharmaceutical companies, at companies including Integrated Clinical Systems, where he led the design and implementation of several major new features.
Rick holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Jud is responsible for the overall product and technical direction of Comprehend Systems’ products.
Prior to Comprehend Systems, Jud was the Chief Technology Officer of an online industrial electronics distributor, where he designed and delivered software systems involving large datasets with complex, multi-tier interactions. Implementation of these systems spanned end-user data presentation down to micro-controller programming for data acquisition. Prior to that, as a consultant, Jud successfully executed difficult projects within the pharmaceutical industry, including the integration of multiple EDC systems to facilitate reporting.
Jud holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Will is Director of Customer Solutions and is responsible for ensuring customer success through services, training, and support. Previously, he worked at Netflix, Facebook and Blackhawk Network, where he led analytics and business intelligence teams. Will also brings years of experience from MicroStrategy Professional Service and successfully delivered BI solutions to 30+ Fortune 500 customers. In addition to enterprise BI, Will is also interested in consumer web and founded a trip planning service for travelers to plan trips and discover things to do.
Will holds a BS and MS in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburg, Pennsylania.
Lee is responsible for sales strategy and execution at Comprehend. He is a 15 year sales veteran with a proven record of success selling into Fortune 500 companies, building sales organization and implementing efficient sales processes.
Prior to Comprehend, Lee was founding member and early sales leader at two successful startup companies. NeuEdge Technologies and Wireless Valley Communications, the latter was sold to Motorola, inc in 2006. Lee was most recently a key sales contributor for enterprise sales at Meraki – a fast growing cloud networking equipment manufacturer, which was sold to Cisco Systems in 2013.
Lee holds a bachelors degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, Virginia
Ben is responsible for Comprehend’s overall marketing organization where he sets the market strategy and vision.
Prior to Comprehend, Ben held various roles in the life science industry at biotechnology, pharmaceutical and contract research organizations. His software marketing experience was gained from roles at : Silicon Graphics, Apple, Oracle and TIBCO.
Ben is a graduate of Pepperdine University and University of Southern California with a B.S. in Business Computer Systems.
